JUNIOR
AND SENIOR HIGH AT
GHCA

The Greater Houlton Christian Academy Junior High
School, which includes grades 7 and 8, offers a transitional program
between the self-contained elementary classroom and the departmentalized
high school. It is more student-centered than subject centered. The junior
high school is a place where students feel secure and can be guided daily
by their homeroom teacher. The curriculum of the junior high is geared to
their needs and includes Bible, English, math, history, geography, science, physical education,
keyboarding skills and computer programming.

JUNIOR HIGH PROGRAM EXPLAINED
The
Greater Houlton Christian Academy High School classes in grades 9 through
12 are departmentalized. We continue to expand our academic and athletic
programs as we are able. Our course offerings include Bible, English, Latin,
math, science, computer
literacy, history, Spanish, physical education and
health. We also offer opportunities for students to participate in such
