Before visiting GHCA for the first time, we encourage you to call and schedule an appointment. For the protection of our students, visitors must be issued an identification badge and be escorted by staff personnel. Student visitors must be approved of ahead of time and will be partnered with one of our own students. Contact our office for more details.

Who To Ask

Here’s who to ask when you have questions about school:

Governance Questions: The Head of School, Mr. Bishop, answers to the parent-elected Board of Directors and functions as Chief Educational Officer (superintendent) of the school, focusing on institutional advancement, strategic planning, accreditation (including academic improvement), finance, community relations, and similar areas. The Assistant Head of School, Mr. Zimmerman, functions as a building principal and focuses on the academic program, directly supervising faculty, and students.

Classroom/Course Questions: Teachers welcome questions regarding specific classroom or course activities. Parents
are encouraged to contact Mr. Zimmerman, Asst. Head of School, if further discussion would be helpful. In the spirit of Matthew 18:15-18, parents are expected to share any classroom or course concerns with teachers before contacting Mr. Zimmerman.
