First Day! (09/07/2010)

We have completed our first day of the school year. The students did a great job paying attention and listening.

The students have received assignment books. These will help us communicate back and forth. The assignment books cost $3.00. Please send the money in by Friday.

The students need to cover their reading, science, and history books some time this week. The books should be covered with paper not with cloth covers. Please do not put anything sticky directly on the books.

Well, we have had a wonderful school year. I have enjoyed this class so much. I appreciate how well they get along. I trust each one will have a wonderful summer.

Thursday, June 3rd (06/02/2010)

We will be having our Awards' Ceremony at the Houlton Wesleyan Church starting at 8am. Students are to be dropped off at the church. We will come back to the school to change and then go to Birch Point for our picnic. Students are to wear chapel dress for the Awards' Ceremony. They should bring clothes to change into for the picnic. We will be back to the school by 2:30pm. Pray for good weather!

This Friday, May 14, I will not be in school. Mrs. Katie Duff will be subbing. Students will enjoy her. I will be back on Monday for the final couple of weeks. Can you believe we are so near the end? If parents so desire, drop me an email with some highlights from the 4th grade year.
