This is our cleaning day, but we will be taking our science test in the morning and working on a couple other subjects. Students may come dressed in work clothes that are appropriate for school. Dismissal will be at 11:30. This is different than all other early dismissal days.

Upper Elementary Picnic (05/20/2010)

Grades 4-6 will be having their class picnics together at Birch Point on Pleasant Lake in Island Falls on Thursday, June 3.
The following activities will be available:

swimming
paddle boating, canoeing, kayaking
fishing - bring your own equipment
bowling
arcade

Students will need to bring money if they want to use the arcade or buy snacks.
We will need help transporting students. If you are available, please let use know. We will be leaving after the awards ceremony. Students will change at the school. They may wear weather appropriate clothes. Shorts will need to be below the knee, and girls need to wear a one piece bathing suit, or a t-shirt over it. We recommend bringing a change of clothes, just in case. :)
Pray for nice weather, otherwise there will be no picnic.

Today I sent home information about the students' Bird Project. It is due May 19. The project will be graded on the following:

Oral presentation (1 minute)

Nursing Home (05/02/2010)

Tuesday, May 4 grades 4-6 will be going to the Nursing Home. If you are able to transport students, please let me know. We will be leaving around 1:15.

**Tuesday - Thursday we will be taking our SAT's. Please make sure that your child gets lots of sleep and good brain food in the morning. :)
